Can I Bring Food or Drinks?

Yes — you’re welcome to bring what you need.

Our preference is light refreshments or hors d’oeuvres, rather than full dinner parties.

To protect our rugs and furniture, we ask that:

  • You set up food on the hardwood floor area near the entrance, using our folding tables.

  • Guests enjoy snacks in that area rather than eating throughout the rugs or lounge zones.

Do I Need Rental Insurance?

HeartLab does not require rental insurance for most events.

If you are a practitioner or facilitator, we do recommend having your own general liability insurance to support your professional work.

Is There a Stage?

Yes!

The daybed converts easily into a raised stage. Just remove the top mattresses and pillows to reveal the platform.

For seating:

  • 25 floor BackJacks can be pulled from under the bed

  • Couches + chairs provide comfortable back seating

  • Performers can use our 4 high-quality folding chairs

We also offer mics, stands, and hands-free options for presenters, musicians, breathwork leaders, or anyone who needs to move freely.

What Is the Rental Rate?

HeartLab offers hourly, full-day, and full-weekend rates.

$85 an hour for weekday rentals (minimum two hour rentals required)

$100 an hour for weekend rentals

$300 for full evening 6:15-11:15pm weekdays

$800 for full day rental Friday Saturday or Sunday

To reserve your date, we require a 50% deposit.

If you cancel within 2 weeks, we will refund 50% unless it’s an emergency.

What Is Included in the Rental Fee?

  • Full access to the entire space

  • All furniture, supplies, and equipment listed above

  • Mood lighting options

  • Use of the projector and screen

  • Use of both audio systems

  • Cleaning and reset after your event (unless extraordinary cleanup is required)

You may also add HeartLab support staff to help with setup/breakdown — especially helpful for performances, sound checks, or detailed staging.

Support staff is available at $30/hour.

Can I Set Up and Break Down During My Rental?

Yes — setup and breakdown time is included within your rental hours.

If you need extra time, just let us know.

Can I Visit HeartLab Before Booking?

We offer in-person tours by request, but our preference is that you first:

  • Watch our virtual tour (sent upon inquiry)

  • Read the Rental Guide

  • Review the FAQ page

Once you’ve looked through those resources, if you still need to see the space in person, we’re happy to schedule a tour.

What Are the Music / Noise Guidelines?

Music is welcome — including DJ sets, performances, and dance events.

We ask that:

  • Music stays at a loud-but-still-conversational volume to honor our neighbors

  • Weeknight events lower volume after 10:30pm

  • Weekend events lower volume after 1:00am

After 1:00am, you’re welcome to switch to Silent Disco and dance as late into the morning as you’d like.

Do You Support Recurring Groups or Long-Term Rentals?

Yes — we love hosting:

  • Weekly classes

  • Biweekly circles

  • Monthly gatherings

  • Year-long trainings

  • Multi-day retreats

If you’d like to anchor your offering at HeartLab, we’d be honored to collaborate.
